His Royal Highness Prince Philip, husband of Queen Elizabeth II, as a teenager in 1937 attended the funeral of a family friend in Darmstadt. The photo (thanks to Max History for getting it down to an acceptable size for posting) shows two senior SS officer, one an Oberführer, two if not three senior SA men (one is somewhat hidden) plus many other senior officers of various forces.
Is an identification possible?

Re: Funeral of Grand Duke Georg Donatus of Hesse-Darmstadt,
Hi, Steve!
Looks like August Wilhelm Prinz von Preussen behind Prince Philip.

Only version (photo is not good)
SS-Staf. (not SS-Oberführer) in first row might be Christoph Prinz von Hessen.
Andrey.

Re: funeral of Grand Duke Georg Donatus of Hesse-Darmstadt,
Here is the photo with caption from an excellent book: Jonathan Petropoulos, Royals and the Reich: The Princes von Hessen in Nazi Germany (Oxford University Press, 2006).
