Michael Wittmann's tank crew

#1

Post by cozy powell » 13 Apr 2012, 22:05

hi every one,
can any one help me what were the names and positions ie jobs, of Michael Wittmann's tank crew when they were all killed i did think Bobby woll was a loader till i find out later he was by then a commander of a tank himself.and now I've just got confused as i had down Bobby Woll loader, Bobby Warmbrunn driver, and Georg Lotch as the gunner.
i have tried to find out this in the forum but had no joy.

many thanks,
cozy powell.

the reason i'm after this information is because i'm off to France shortly to visit the battle fields, and the war graves.

Hi, chum, according to Patrick Agte. driver SS-Unterscharführer Hein Reimers -gunner Karl Wagner - radio operator SS-Sturmmann Rudi Hirschel - loader was Günther Weber. And according too Garyl Simpsons life story of Wittman - Wolls Tiger was under repair with SS-Obersturmführer Stamms workshop company after being damaged by allied jabos, and Wittman decided to have his old and trusted gunner with him. And on august 2 Bobby Woll is ordered by Wittman to be sent for medical leave. Hope this helps ,sorry for bad grammar and punctuation mistakes. Enjoy your visit.

Reason: I corrected the spelling, added Umlauts, used caitalisation if needed etc.

It is just Wittmann sitting in a random Tiger to get filmed after his award.
