It's finally released and I must say that I am extremely pleased with it. Numerous previously unseen photos. Hope you like it.

Hi,
How many colour photos in the third Reich from this book?
And how many unseen colour photos?
Thanks.

Colour photos are extremely expensive to publish/print in books on art gloss paper. The photo section consists of well over 1100 images which was expensive enough as it is. The publisher and I took the decision to publish all images in black and white as the cost of introducing colour would have resulted in a vast reduction in the total number of illustrations in order to save production costs and keep the retail price reasonable. I am extremely pleased with the outcome. Take my word for it, it's a "must have" book for anyone interested in Himmler and SS personalities. Had I not written it, I would definitely be buying it for my bookshelf.

Congratulations Max !! I have mine on order here in the states with Amazon, but alas it is "temporarily out of stock". Alas I will have to just wait and salivate for it. I know it will be a must for any bookshelf.

I have also pre-ordered your other book on amazon on the SS Elite Leadership that will supposedly ship in February 2015. Is this a reprint of your previous volume 1 book on the SS Leadership? The new title "SS Elite: The Senior Leaders of Hitler's Praetorian Guard Vol:1 A-J" seems to indicate that it is not.

Mark,
No, it is not a reprint of the previous book. It is a totally new project, published by Fonthill Media, with many different new photos and updated information contained in two volumes, the second of which is almost complete and will appear either at the same time as volume 1 or soon after.

Max:

Fantastic! Looking forward to all the books you have coming. Glad to see that you have a publisher willing to put out the SS Leadership books. I understand it was hard trying to get Ulric to put out volume 2 of your previous work. They will be "must haves" for all of us on the forum.
Best wishes for their success.

Max,

Congratulations on your upcoming work. Do you have also any info on publishing Volume 2 and 3 of your original “Leadership Corps Book”( Volume 1 A-E is getting very lonely in my book shelf).

With regards

HM.
