Karl Döring - Gestapo Paris

Hello,

In this thread was mentioned Karl Döring, Gestapo officer in Paris: http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?t=214316
He probably served in Paris between 1940-1942 as SS-Hstuf KR.

Is this the same Döring who was promoted to SS-Hstuf with IdS Posen in 1943 (BBL 52/1943), next was promoted from KK to KR with Stapo Hohensalza in the same year (BBL 53/1943), and was transfered from Stapo Posen to RSHA in 1944 or late 1943 (BBL 9/1944)?

A little more about Döring:

“Doering, fnu, Hstuf., Kriminalrat, was transferred from [RSHA] Amt IV to Amt VI in 1944. Before that he had been active in Paris and Poland for Amt IV. He was transferred in the course of a disciplinary action, during which he was cleared of charges. In Amt VI he was put in charge of North African affairs. In this capacity he belonged to Referent VI B4, though the results of his work were evaluated by VI B2. The work for North Africa was known under the cover-name ‘PARSIFAL’. Doering was in charge of training and commitment of agents in the North African sector. Steimle recalls only one successful commitment of an agent in Algiers, which resulted in the establishment of radio-contact. After the situation in the West turned from bad to worse in the spring of 1945, Steimle eliminated the African operations and put ‘PARSIFAL’ at the disposition of the ‘Leitstelle West’, with the task of establishing connections within France (perhaps through Arabs). This plan was put into effect in the spring of 1945; however, it is not established whether or not any messages were actually received. Doering had chosen Stuttgart as the seat of his department and was located there in a building which belonged to the Hitler Youth. Steimle did not hear from him anymore during the last weeks before the final collapse and does not know of his present whereabouts. Doering is about 40-42 years old. His wife used to live in Berlin.”

Döring in charge of North Africa in Amt VI Berlin was in contact with Rissmann responsible of "North Africa" in Amt VI (BdS Paris). They used contacts with Intelligence Dept of the Parti Populaire Français for mission of infiltration. An agent called Lambropoulos established a radio at Algera long time. (Nosek state it could be a "Funkspiel" of the allied I.S..
Leitstelle West was headed by SS-Staf Bickler. With some kommandos displayed in Sudwest area. Döring head kommando Leopard (Stuttgart). Nosek had no contact with him.
