Emil Beier
Born 29.11.93 at Lime-Polka.
Served as a Landsturm-Korporal des k.k. Gebirgs Artillerie Rgt. Later moved to Troppau.
Joined DNSAP on jan. 1919 active member of Kreisleitung Troppau from 1931 to disband. Work with Ing. Rudolf Jung.
Since 1923 member of city Council of Opava (Troppau). And from 1924 member of Stadtverwaltung. From nov. 1939 Ratsmann.
And in 1931-1934 stell. Bürgermeister.
1935 join SdP as active member, worked with SD.
On 1938, became Stell. of the new Bürgermeister.
In civilian life he was up to 1938 secretary of the trade union of employees DHV.
On 01.11.38 join NSDAP and SS, rose to SS-Stubaf. ranK

22.04.40 Regierungskommissar Stadt Mährisch Ostrau. And replaced the mayor of Mährisch Ostrau.
On july 1942 he was appointed Oberbürgermeister of Mährisch Ostrau after a dozen of neighboring moravian and silesian town where incorporated to Mährische Ostrau. He conducted a successfull town Policy until end 1943.
He fled in Germany in spring 1945?
Died on 12.05.85 at Fulda.
