In regard to U 552 captain Erich Topp
Date of joining SS?
Rank in the SS?
How long was he a member of the SS?
Date of Joining the NSDAP and NSDAP Number?

Nach dem Abitur und dem halbjährigen Arbeitsdienst in der Organisation "Todt" zog es ihn nach Kiel. Dort schrieb er sich als Student der Humanmedizin ein, was zwangsläufig mit einer SS-Anwärterschaftverbunden war. Erich Topp war Mitglied der Burschenschaft Teutonia Kiel
As a medical student in Kiel he was due to career planning a SS-aspirant, not more :milwink:
