An Aktenvermerk dated 17.1.1945 state
From 15. avril 1944 assigned to the Waffen-SS (Pz.Jg.A.u.E.Abt. Rastenburg) as SS-Unterscharführer (der Reserve).
For illness reasons (arthrosis) on july 1944 released from W-SS as unfit for service.
(SS-O. files + Band 2 Die Generale der Waffen-SS und der Polizei Zinke/Schulz)

Jost was chief of SD Ausland since 30's prior Schellenberg.

Who has more info on Jost wife.

He married somewhere around 1934? His wife, Carola geb. Schneider(Birth date and Place ?)died 25.08.1934. Possible because of complications given birth to a daughter on 04.08.1935?
