Is this an actual position that is applicable only to a 'KL' ?
If so did each 'KL' have such a position?
Furthermore:
1. What were the roles and responsibilities of the position?
2. Who were the officers (men) who held this position in 'KL Dachau' in 1945?
Many thanks in advance, Peter

Re: SS-Standortkommandeur
In the town of Dachau next to KL there is a SS-Standortkommandantur der Waffen-SS with :
- A guard company at Dachau for the guard of the SS-Standort and the honour guard of Munich
- A guard company for the honour guard at Obersalzberg
- A company for Dachau
- A Ski Kp Dachau Sonderkolonne for Obersalzberg.

Re: SS-Standortkommandeur
OK thanks Georges. It seems Otto Kron (RKT) was the SS-Standortkommandant for Dachau in March 1945. I'm just trying to find out more information specific to that. And how Bernhard Frank fitted in relation to that.
