I think your'll find that the photograph of Liebehenschel was taken for his SS file when he held the rank of SS-Untersturmfuhrer, I don't think this is his mug shot as a war criminal.

Hello TrBooks,

I am pretty sure that the photo of Liebnschel is taken after the war.
I have a lot of photos of Auschwitzpersonell just in that position.
Among them Aumeier, Liebenschel, etc etc...
The enlisted men are wearing the same uniform with a strange cap,
and all officers are wearing the same SS-Ustuf uniform. Nomatter what their rank was.

Best reg.

Georg

Hi,

I work for a publishers and am finding it hard to get images of Franz Stangl and Scholss Hartheim. Do you have any images we might be able to use?

Best Wishes

Hi Anya

Wartime photos of Stangl are MEGA rare, post-war photos are usually available, try "Into That Darkness" by Sereny.

There are some photos on the web of Schloss Hartheim, try searching google using T-4, Euthenasia, and other associated topics.

Thanks,

the only ones I seem to be able to find of Stangl are really low res, but I'll check out "into the Darkness".
