Does anyone know what happened to his right hand (possibly during WWII)? In all photos/footage of him that I can remember seeing, he uses only his left hand (for greetings/salute etc).

Hello Klemen, is it possible that you put here all Photos of Schimmelpfennig which you have in stock?

I don't have any other photo of him.

The reason why he was replaced by Kempin is because he took leave/vacation. App. when he came back to Ljubljana, he told how shocked he was about the conditions in his home town (somewhere in Prussia).

No trace in SS Dienstaltersliste (01.42 and 04.42). Date of entry in the SS ?
