Frey's wife was very ill. He shot her, then himself.

Was Albert Frey indicted in the 4. Frankfurter Auschwitz-Prozess 18.12.1973 – 03.02.1976 ?

Does anyone has a bio and a pic of him?

I can't imagine doing it myself, but I think it would be an act of extraordinary will and strength. Not that I approve, but it's certainly not up to me to approve or disapprove.

A tragic story.

A photo of the just-wed Albert and Lotte Frey may be found in Marc Rikmenspoel's Soldiers of the Waffen-SS- Many Nations, One Motto (J.J. Fedorowicz Publishing, 1999). Seeing the photo of this happy couple, taken 63 years ago, made it all the more tragic.
