Thanks TH,
But I have to give you some correct information about KL Arbeitsdorf
That camp wasn´t a subcamp it was a Independent camp it was raised in 1040 or 1941 and was mainly a workcamp for Volkswagen, in Oktober it was closed, but was used as example for the need of workers (slave) for the German Military industry. The two Kommandants was at first (Later)SS-Ostubaf Martin Weiss and then SS-Hstuf Wilhelm Schliti until it closed.
Schitli had previous been Schützenlagerführer at KL Neuengamme under just Martin Weiss who held command as Kommandant over the two camps. Before Neuengamme Schliti was Schützenlagerführer in KL Sachsenhausen.
Best regards,
Georg

I don't suppose that anyone knows what unit of the SS-Totenkopf-Division Wilhelm Gideon served in between 1939-42? Thank you

short life Konzentrations-Hauptlager Arbeitsdorf was opened in Gemeinde Fallersleben (near Wolfsburg) on 8 april 1942. Inmates came from KL Sachsenhausen and Neuengamme put at disposal by Reichswerken Hermann GoerinG for VW-Werkes.
Camp was closed on 11 oktober 1942.
