Seeking bios and pics of Himmler's brothers

I'm looking for detailed bios of Ernst and Gebhard Himmler, and also their photos, preferably in SS uniforms. I saw an excellent photo of all three brothers in SS uniforms yesterday, I'd very grateful if someone posted it.

Himmler had two brothers? Interesting to hear about them. I have never heard of them.

Heinrich had two brothers, an older brother Gebhard was born in 1898, about 2 years before Heinrich. A younger brother Ernst was born in 1905.
I quote from one of Himmler's biographies on the Internet : 'Heinrich like his older brother began his education at the Munich Cathedral School. He then attended the Royal Wilhelm Gymnasium, a selective secondary school.'

Again I will quote from http://www.thirdreichpages.org/himmler1.htm : 'Although young Heinrich grew up in a financially comfortable family, he lived in the shadow of his older brother, also named Gebhardt. The junior Gebhardt was an athletic youth who had enlisted in the armed forces during the first World War. By contrast, Heinrich was a near-sighted, pale youth who was plagued by health problems.'

So Polkovnik Sakharov is right.However I haven't found any pics of them so one would be appreciated.

Gebhard Himmler was born 29.07.1898 in Munich. His last rank was SS-Standartenführer (30.01.1944) and SS-Standartenführer d. R. der Waffen-SS (30.03.1944). He was Ministerialdirigent and Leiter der Abteilung für berufliches Bildungswesen im Reichsministerium für Wissenschaft, Erziehung und Volksbildung.

Ernst Himmler was born 23.12.1905 in Munich. He died 1945. His last rank was SS-Sturmbannführer (10.09.1939). He was Technischer Personalbearbeiter und Stellvertreter des Technischen Direktors der Reichsrundfunkgesellschaft.

Thanks, AnDie. So, Ernst was Stellvertreter des Technischen Direktors der Reichsrundfunkgesellschaft. Makes sense, because on the photo I saw the day before yesterday (it was in a book, don't remember the title anymore, but I can go and look again) he was wearing a lightning in his collar patch, meaning he was Nachrichtenfuehrer of an SS-Oberabschnitt.

I'm not too sure but I think one of his brothers (or both?) commited suicide.

Hello Doggowitz,

I've seen another post on this forum about Himmler, a very recent one, you should find it easily, and there somebody said Ernst Himmeler died in 1945 and probably committed suicide but this person was also not so sure.

But that's okay, I'm now looking for the place where he died.
