Junkerschule graduates...

#1

Post by Timo » 19 Apr 2004, 18:29

I'm looking for lists of Junkerschule Lehrgang graduates, both Tölz and Braunschweigg. Does somebody have them or know where to get them? I'm especially looking for the graduates of the Kriegs-Junker-Lehrgänge of 1940, 1941, 1942 and 1943.

Thanks in advance,
Timo

I have at least one list with graduates from the class at JS Tölz 1940. This class included Willy Hund and Walter Körner, both RKT. Also in this class was Johann Velde, EB and DKiGT. Velde was in the Cherkassy pocket, and after the war served in the German army. Velde and Hund were roomates and best friends. The list I have can be found in Körner's records at the NARA - in his personalakte. It shows all graduates and which units they were posted to after graduation. I will scan and send this to you when I have the time :-)

Please continue to be patient with me. Everything will be sent, like promised!

The Junkerschule of Braunschweig was established at Posen-Tresckau in war due to the allied bombing raids.

Thanks Philmil, that's great. It even lists a veteran who contributed to my manuscript :)

Do you have the other pages of this list too?

Timo

Hello Heyman,

In the book of Jan Vincx "Vlaanderen in Uniform" (parts 5 and 6) you'll find lists of the Flemish Volunteers in the different Führerlehrgänge. Sadly I'm just missing the pages dealing with the Lehrgänge you are interested in. Looked up some information on the persons you are interested in:

- Ustuf. Theo Pasques (° 14.06.22 - Lokeren), later served in Jagdverbände Nordwest
- Ustuf. Anton van Dyck (° 27.03.22 - Berchem) SS.Nr. 455972
or
- Ustuf. Willem van Dyck (° 06.07.24 - Antwerpen, + 21.03.03)
- and your godfather

Ustuf. Heinrich Heymann (they must have "Germanized" his name I suppose)
° 25.07.1910 - St-Niklaas
is listed in the SS-Panzer-Ausbildungs-und-Ersatz-Regiment in June 1944

Source:Führerliste CD by John P. Moore

Hope that helps,

Cheers
Simon

Hi,

I have the full list and there is a SS-Standartoberjunker Anton van Dyck, born 27.3.22, and a SS-Standartoberjunker Theo Pasques, born 14.6.22, who both attended the 8. Kriegs-Junker-Lehrgang und versehrten-Lehrgang at SS-Junkerschule Tölz and was promoted to SS-Untersturmführer on 10.3.43.

There is no Heyman, that I could find on the list.

Have a Happy and prosperous New Year!

Regards,

Peter

dear Peter

Thank you for your replay about junkerschule list graduates in Tölz.
Its very strange you could not find the name of my godfather Hendrik Heyman in your full list of graduaties. You have seen surely the other replay here in the same chatbox telling us H.Heyman was there in Tolz.Perhaps there were at the same time different course s? Or perhaps the CD Fuhrerlist of John P. Moore is not linked at the junkerschule training but directly to the officerranks? Do youy have suggestions?

Hi John and Heyman,

I would like to say "you are both very welcomed" . as I do like to help when I can and if I have time.

Heyman, I did find your godfather, Heinrich Heymann! He was commssioned an SS-Untersturmführer the 21 June 1943 after having completed and passed the 11. Kriegs-Junkerlehrgang an der SS-Junkerschule Tölz.

A Happy New Year to you both.

Best Regards,

Peter
