Has somebody more info about these two SS-Haupsturmführers???

SS-Hauptsturmführer Hermann Schaper was active in Polen as commander of Einsatkommando/Gestapo-unit 'Zichenau-Schröttersburg.

SS-Hauptsturmführer Dieter Schmidt was with the SS in Sofia and acted as it's commander.

Hi mulisch,

take a look at this site: http://www1.jur.uva.nl/junsv/brd/Gericht03fr.htm and search for Landgericht (LG) Giessen. You will find "Scha., Hermann". Especially after reading your recommended article http://www.iyp.org/polish/history/antyp ... _de_9.html I think he is the same.

Greetings from

Ludger

Hi Ludger,

Thanks for the information and i think you're right. We are speaking about the same man here.

Is there more info about the following men:

Dör., Hans Freispruch + Verfahren eingestellt
Har., Franz 4½ Jahre
Rö., Otto Verfahren eingestellt
Scha., Ernst Freispruch

They were also at trial in "Verfahren Lfd.Nr.836".

More info about their complete names would be verry useful !!!!

Hello Mulisch,

I stumbled on this old thread of mine and I searched again where I did find that name Dieter Schmidt.
Well, apparently he was a character in a book so most likely his name is not for real....
