Hi guys..I was looking for any additional info on Masarié' s pre-war SS service

I know he served in SS-TV Elbe 1936-37 and SS-TV Oberbayern 1937-39 in the motorcycle platoon..when and what SS-Junkerschule did he graduate from, and did he serve in the SS-VT prior to his SS-TV service..

Thanks
Tom

Would anyone happen to have a photo of Mr. Masarie?

Thanks,

I also have the info that in 1938 was A. Masarie as SS-Rottenführer transfered from SS-T.-St. "Oberbayern" at KL Dachau to SS-T.-St. "Brandenburg". As new guards of this Totenkopf standarte. Source : Kaienburg - Wirtschaft und Standort des KL Sachsenhausen-Oranienburg

The info comes from one of the SS-men who was transfered together with Masarie, he also tells that a short time after the transfer was they all promoted to SS-Uscha.

Are we sure the spelling is correct?
It's Masserie Lino standing to my sources.
He was son of Italians workers settled in Germany after the first war, born on 10/10/1912 on Voss staae borough in Nurnberg if I remember right.
There's a book about him, just in Italian language, "Il Cavaliere rosso" published by Ritter.

cheers

In every book I have about the SS-T.-Div and Ritterkreuzträger the spelling is Masarie and in most cases his name is shortened only to be "Lino"
