Has somebody a bio of Jan Lodewijk Reckers, born on 02.01.1924 and was an Ustuf. in the 12. SS-Panzer Division 'Hitlerjugend' ?

in late somer of 1944 he was placed unther the 12. SS-Panzer Division 'Hitlerjugend' . Therefor he surved in the 5. SS-Panzer Division 'Wiking', the SS-Panzergrenadier Regiment 10 'Westland' .

In the meantime I have allready much information about Untersturmführer Ludwich Reckers that lived in Limburg (Belgium), where I live.
Untersturmführer Reckers died as commander of the 5./SS-Panzergrenadier Regiment 26 on 12.03.1945

Ludwich is just german for Lode or Lodewijk. I'll send you a pm Mike.

In my sources I got one RECKERS, Ludwich born 02/01/1924 in Hamont/flandres (Belgium)

Thank you very much Jérôme. I didn't know the date when the became Ustuf. allready.
Does somebody know if he fought in the Ardennes? Or why and when he earned insignia?

In my files, I have him with the rank of SS-Standartoberjunker d. Res. whilel he was serving as a Panzer-Grenadier-ZgFhr. in
the SS-Gren.-Ausb. Btl. 18. Sorry no date as yet.

Well, seems like after completing the Junkerschule course, he was send to SS-Gren.-Ausb. Btl. 18 for Zugführer training as a Standartenoberjunker and was send to the HJ Division after that to lead a Zug as an Untersturmführer.

The document is " Versetzung der Teilnehmer des 11. Oberjunkerlehrganges"
Nach Abschluss der Waffenlehrgäge werden mit Wirkung 28 April 1944 versetzt bzw. kommandiert

Timo, sorry, it is a document listing all the participants of the 11. Oberjunkerlehrganges at SS-Panzer-Grenadier Schule "Kienschlag" and the units they were transferred to. Transferr effective 28 April 1944.
