No Iron Cross 2nd Class ribbon appears in the photo. I see the ribbon for the Kriegsverdienstkreuz II. Klasse mit Schwertern on his ribbon bar (and in buttonhole). 2nd from left on ribbon bar is probably a Polizeidienstauszeichnung (long service award), maybe 3.Stufe (bronze). I can't make out the third ribbon. Also SA-Sportabzeichen in Bronze.

Karl Schulz was tried ( with Anton Streitwieser) and sentenced to 15 years imprisonment.
