Hello Juanjo,

I've three officers with the name Karl Becker.
First the two ones you also mentioned(the info on the Dr. Karl Becker I got from 'Die Personen-Lexikon der NSDAP').
So thanks for the few details on Dr. Becker that were not mentioned in 'Die Personen-Lexikon' and of course
thank you for the info on the Kark Becker I was asking for.

I also have:
Karl Walter Becker.
Born ????
Member of the SS(nr.????)
SS-Untersturmführer.
In 1944 he served with 2. Kompanie from SS-Aufklärungs-Abteilung 12 with 12. SS-Panzer-Division ‘Hitlerjugend’.
MIA since 14-8-1944.

HM, thank you very much for all the great info, I know what to do today.
By the way, I got the info on the regimentcommanders from the following post:
http://www.feldgrau.net/phpBB2/viewtopi ... 6182f41269

But not all what was written down there was correct or completed.
Still, it was something to start with and because I couldn't find any more info on the four officers mentioned
I started this post. But with your info I'll come pretty far now, thank you very much.

Greetings to both of you,
Mike

Hello Jan-Willem,

Yes, I know. I already had post and submit it when I saw the fault it in my files, sorry for the mistake.
This was a big blunder, and I can't blame it on being sleepy because I'm pretty good awake.

But he was really missing for a while, only not for always. He went in captivity and survived the war.
And this year he was indeed still alive.

Thanks for pointing this out, I'll never forgive myself for a mistake like this. :)

 no problemo Mike, my answer was not pointing a finger or something like that. Just an answer on your question.

He survived the war after beeing POW. Hopefully to have some more info on K-W Becker in a month.

Hello Jan Willem,

I know you didn't meant that but you did in a certain way and that's okay, I have to be shaken and stirred sometimes.
Everything is taken care of now, the info is on the right place and no more mistakes.

Greetings,
Mike

Hello Phil,

Thanks for the extra and additional info on both these officers, much appreciated of course.

But about the notes you've written down on these sheets, I hope I read the following correctly:
Nickel: Kdr. Pol. Rgt. 13 from 6-2-43 till ??-11-43//Kdr. Pol. Rgt. 14 from ??-11-43 till ??-1-45// Kdr.
Pol. Gren. Rgt. 91 from ??-1-45 till ??

Korff: Kdr. Pol. Rgt. z.b.V. 1 from 7-44 till 16-3-45(W-SS Pol. Brig. Wirth)//Kdr. Pol. Rgt. 29 from
16-3-45 till 16-4-45//Kdr. Pol. Rgt. 89 from 6-4-45 till ???

Okay, thanks for telling me that, that was the only thing I couldn't read that well.

And regarding Korff, did I saw it correctly that Pol. Rgt. z.b.V. was part of Pol. Brigade 'Wirth'???

Take care,
Mike
