Dr. Werner Fecke.
SS-Stubaf
Recieved DKiG on 30-12-1944.
Can't find anything else on this officer.
Wowho can help me with some basic info like DoB/birthplace, party- and SS-number, some career-info
and DoD/place of death???

Dr. Wilhelm Fehrensen: German doctor.
Member SS(nr. 276.829).
He got promoted to SS-Oberführer on 21-6-1944.
He served as a doctor with IV. Waffen-Gebirgs-Korps der SS.
He received the DKiG on 26-1-1945.
Tried to find a bit more about him but nothing, not on this forum and not on the internet.
Who can help me with his DoB/birthplace, partynumber, some career-info and DoD/place of death???

Thank you,
Mike

Hello Juha,

Thank you for the info.
Somebody else did send me a PM about it and much of the info is similar
and therefor much of it I already had. But still, thanks for telling me about it,
the few things the other person didn't tell me are written overhere.

Greetings,
Mike

Okay, I know what to do again this weekend, translating all this into Dutch.
Thank you very much for this awesome bio Phil, will be nice one in Dutch as well as
I already can see.

And of course it's a great additional piece on top of what I already got from Juha.
This will be a separate file within my filessystem for sure.

With kind regards,
Mike

Who can add anything on Fecke. He got his DKiG for his engagement during the Tscherkassy-Battle.

Thanks a lot ! This portrait confirms the identification of a color slide in Editions Heimdal's possession. They have made the acquisition of 50 color slides taken by SS-PK Mitschke in Finland. The whole set will be published in a few months.
