SS-Ostuf. Jakob v.d. Polder (born 1920)
SS-Ostuf. Wilhelm Cornelis Linschoten (1907)

SS-Ustuf. Johan Ihlken (1921)
SS-Ustuf. Willi Heuvel (1922)

All info is welcome and appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Ben

Jan Willem Ilcken

Correction - Jan Willem Ilcken was not KIA on 26 July 1944 and is still alive according to information that I received last December from a credible Dutch researcher. Instead, Ilcken was captured on that date in the vicinity of Repniku and returned from Soviet captivity in October 1953. Ilcken was seen in several Soviet POW camps by other Dutch prisoners and the German Red Cross card that Ilcken filled out
in Germany in October 1943 has been seen by this researcher. A former Norwegian officer, Per Kjölner, had stated that Ilcken was executed near Repniku by the Soviets .

Hello John,

Sorry to be a pain in the ass but I see some differences here.

Peter mentions the date 27-7-44 and you now tell us 26-7-44.
Which date is the correct date on which Ilcken was captured????

Peter tells us that the town/city is called Repnikau and you call it Repniku.
What is the correct spelling of this place??? Not a big issue of course because you
or Peter easily could have made a typing-error but I just wanna clear it up.

Greetings,
Mike

The correct name is "Repniku", it was there that the "General Seyffardt"-regiment was more or less destroyed. I guess Ilcken was captured 26/7 but Im not sure..
