He served with 12. SS-Panzer-Division ‘Hitlerjugend’.
After WW-2 he was a member of the Kompaniekameradschaft 11. (alte) ‘LAH’(Marks).
Died on 24-5-1998.


Are these two men identical, are they one and the same???
What does SS-PHA mean?? Maybe SS-Polizei Hauptamt???

He was neither a member of the SSPHA or in the SS-HJ Divn

He was a "Propagandist" and served in the Propaganda Ministry, SS-Hauptamt and
latterly with the Wlassow Army entirely in this career. He had a slight connection
with SS-Wiking Div in the Caucasus also as a Propagandist.

Thanks for the info.
So the two Schroers I mentioned are not the same.
The Schroer you're mentioning is identical to my first Schroer because the SS-nrs. do match and because
the DoB of your Schroer is not the same as from my second Schroer.

According to the copy of his SS file that I have, the usual first page states his SS no. 418257 joining 2 Feb 1942 the same day as he was commissioned SS-Ustuf.

His attachment to various SS units was purely as a Propagandist.
He was still alive in 1964 in the Düsseldorf area.
