Can anyone please shed light on Nicolae Ciupercă's military career, especially before 1936, for which I have nothing:

1936 - 1937: General Officer Commanding, 9th Infantry Division
1937 - 13 Oct 1938: General Officer Commanding, III Army Corps
13 Oct 1938 - 1 Feb 1939: Minister of War
1 Feb 1939 - 12 Sep 1939: Commander-in-Chief, 3rd Army Inspectorate General
12 Sep 1939 - 22 Sep 1939: Commander-in-Chief, 2nd Army
1940: Inspector General of the Army
2 Jun 1940 - 13 Sep 1941: Commander-in-Chief, 4th Army
13 Oct 1941: in reserve

Many thanks in advance,

VJK

He was born on April 20, 1882 at Ramnicu Sarat. Between 1900 and 1902 he attended the Military School of Infantry and Cavalry, obtaining a second lieutenant. He was promoted lieutenant in 1907 and captain in 1911. That same year he was admitted to the Military Academy, which he finished in 1913. In 1916 he was elevated to the rank of major, and in 1920 to lieutenant colonel . It became a brigadier general in 1930
Participate in the War war I as a major, bureau chief of army operations II (led by General Averescu) "contributing nearly the preparation and execution of offensive operations in July 1917";

Hi, :welcome:

Many thanks for your input. I have since been able to fill in some of the gaps, and here is what I have. Any additions would be most welcome.

Best regards,
