Slight variation in design, but theres hundreds of soviet officer boots floating round after the collapse of the soviet union... try them
Just wear 2 pairs of insoles, and definately reform them to your foot
much cheaper and easier, and mine have lasted a very long time, as well as being snug and comfy

Try www.motorcowboyboots.com they are in California U.S.A.They supply Hollywood with the boots.The boots are custom made and expensive.But they offer the proper boots with leather soles.Look at the Han Solo boots,and don't let the title fool you .If you read the article carefully,and study the photo's they are the officer boot type your looking for .

Theres a Finnish Ebay supplier called Noumand Fi, they sell various boots. I got the kind with a buckle at the top-rear, and although they aren't entirely on-par with german boots (they are generic boots) they are still a close match. Would recxomend searching for "han solo" boots, they are generally identical to the "standard" style (no laces/buckles, squared toe etc.) and rather cheap at $200-400 depending where theyre from
