hello
has anybody tried to bleach out a blue german police canteen cover and die it brown?
any advice would be great.

Pretty much, canteen covers along with their keepers are pretty superfluous compared to a few years ago, why kill yourself when you can pick up a nice repro on the cheap.

I tried it 10 years ago when repro covers were terrible or unavailable. In the diluted bleach solution, the blue felt dissolved in a matter of moments. I threw the tattered remains in the trash.
