P C WW 2 games are one way to experience Front Line Action being a squal leader or Infantryman
Board games provide another aspect to experience events of practically any Historical Battles, simulated on a Board Game or Map depicting Geographical Features, where Historical Actions and Orders of Battle can again be commanded by one or more players.
Games of Grand Strategy such as Risk are one example
Historical Campaign Games such as the Russian Campaign simulate the Historical action well
Tactical Games such as Advanced Squad Leader provide a detailed picture of Squad Level action in all Theaters, Norway, Finland,France, Africa,Russia, Pacific, etc
