Living History Battle Mereworth 2007

#2268

Post by Jungmann » 26 Feb 2007, 12:55

Last weekend a large living history battle took place at Mereworth in the UK. Some pictures I took of the event are available on our website here http://www.grossdeutschland.org/images/ ... index.html. Unfortunately the replica stug which was supposed to attend was unable too due to the land owner, so couldn't get any pics.

I've added the only film footage that I managed to take at the Mereworth Living History Battle (in the UK) before my camera broke, to Youtube. The quality suffers a bit on youtube, but you get the idea. Wish I taken more footage to share.

Von Schwerin, danke, we are trying, but it is slow going. The MG34 is a real steel converted into an airsoft gun.

Von Schwerin liking those pictures for shure,is this a few units then from is it all over the u.k? or not,and how many is that there,i like the colours to of that scene and the uniforms, they blend in well.FJdrewb man i wish i had these things when i was young,i mean my brother had some soft air guns in the 80's for ahwile maybe longer, but we did not of course have the uniforms like yours,no money or way to get them then realy, how much dose this all cost again the uniforms, weapons etc..?.
And xtc-alec yes you beat me by a couple of months i see,and going on that MG34 picture great stuff, but if it was in air soft action its fine if WW2 styles, those goggles may need to go. 8-)

Fallschimjager: Yeah I've spent about $1000 on uniforms, weapons, event fees, So far, I have more to spend. Yeah about the goggles, we are working on putting mesh into WWII style goggles. But thanks everyone for the compliments!
