Show us your reenactment photos!
It's not how much you spend at once the thing is you are working on improveing things and one piece at a time and that is a good step in the right direction. It shows you are trying to come up to the re-enacting standards and that is the main point. We do realize that with airsoft you have to wear eye protection but I have no problems with that. Eye protection can be removed and put in a pocket or pouch when not in the field firing and no one would be any the wiser. A lot of re-enactors do wear ear plugs when firing and remove them and secret them away for when not firing. Keep up the good work FJdrewb

Burning paintings...we were doing a Hindkriegerpartie representing a bunch of REMFs that hosted a Partie for the troops coming in from the fight.
Our men had gathered up various items from the nearby French town to burn and a pile of paintings were included because they give off a fast and hot fire. We had tons of Champagne, wine, cigarettes, cigars ,roasted chickens , eggs, sausages ,breads and cheeses all for the men and French music playing .It was quite the Partie and none of the men were aware it was going to happen. We surprised them as they came in dirtect from the fight.
We had about 30 or more wine glasses and after each toast to "The Boss" we threw them into the fire pit where they shattered.
When our "honored Vet guest " arrived only I and one other guy knew he was coming. We snuck him into the event and you should have seen the looks on the guys faces when we kicked open the barracks doors and stormed in...pretty cool.
We had about 8 new guys at this event and they were like...."wow...this is cool...we want to come back !" We warned them we didint do that sort of stuff each time ! Norbert
