Thanks for posting! The bottom image is certainly a rare view! I think this photo was taken through the doorway that led from the hallway in the Berghof that held the doors into AH's office and EB's bedroom on the first floor (2nd in American usage), into the 1st (2nd) floor of Haus Wachenfeld. Hitler's bathroom window faced the other way (although one of the tubs obviously made it out this doorway). See http://thirdreichruins.com/berghof.htm, seven rows up from the bottom of the page.

I know from the blueprints that the doorway had steps that led down into the first(2nd) floor of Haus Wachenfeld. Could that be the railing of the steps still attached to the wall on the right? Terrific images!!

I´ve made the poster with Power Point. Resolution is not very high. If anybody has interest in .jpg or PP file (app. 1 MB) just sent me a pm with your email.

What is the wood used in this dining room...I have heard over the years that they used a conifer wood..."stone pine" or "pineal" are these woods all the same, or different in nature? Someone must have the answer to this question that has bothered me over the years.
