Pre-1945 map of Nuremberg

Postby Mannheim on 11 Jun 2012 23:26

I will be in Nuremberg in August and was wondering if anyone can locate a map of the city - or inner city - from the NS times.

Thanks, Tom. I am familiar with the rally grounds but was looking for a period map with all of the NS street names: "Adolf Hitler Platz" and so on. There is a tiny one on your first link. Thanks again!

Nice city, made some good then an now shots there from the city an the rally grounds. Centre of the city is a bit to small, but it has good atmosphere.

Bytwerk, those maps are sensational! Exactly what I was after! Far too often I've wandered German streets looking for places only to find they have been re-named post-war! Thanks!
And Cor I have been to Nuremberg many times before and agree that it's a great city. I am going there to do my own Then and Now shots, particularly of the Luitpoldhain.

Bytwerk: I hate to be a pain but any chance you might publish the NS period map of Mannheim? I'll be there after my Nuremberg stay.
