Judging by an insignificant talk I correctly understand, what new photos of RK aren't present?!

Yes...we usually post them whenever we find them; it's like a treasure hunt, as finding new, unseen photos of the RK can be a time-consuming, but rewarding, exercise. ;)

I will once again be in Berlin in late October, and I will post some new photos of progress on the NRK site then. If there is anything specific in the area anyone would like to see a photo of, please let me know.

Thanks for the offer, Adam...I'll be looking forward to seeing your new photos of the NRK site and it's environs.

Reichskanzlei experts: can you help contribute to the following topic if you have any information on security arrangements outside the building when Hitler and other senior Nazis were arriving or leaving:

Visited the DHM in the Zeughaus today. There is one of the Breker statues there, Wehrmaht (copy from 1980s). I did not see the second one, Partei. Although the plaque says that both of the orginals went missing, the Partei sculpture should be in a museum in castle Nörvenich http://www.museum-arno-breker.org/deutsch/d-museum-0.html.

This museum is not so far away from my hometown...will try to visit it the next days and make some good photos for you guys :)

I have recently purchased a DVD by Christoph Neubauer which examines the RK in great detail (Hitlers Berlin 3D Die Reichskanzlai in 3D, http://www.flashback-medien.de). It is a very good digital representation of the area at that time, and guides you through what it looked at the time, it is interactive and allows you to choose your viewpoint. It is NOT cheap but in the context of the time and effort used to create it for a nische market, perhaps worth the money.

I attach some random screen captures

Yes, these are excellent videos; a lot of research went into these titles.

Is a nische a German niche? Or did you mean a Nietzsche market?

Ok I submit!! maybe my spelling is not what it should be  In the end, I think they are very good visualisations of what once stood there. If they were still there, I would be the first to stand banging on the door saying let me in!! 8O

Just to be frivolous, and no other reason, attached similar images, the top one is my "Colourised" B/W image and the lower one a screen shot from the video mentioned

Hello. A very interesting thread. I didn't have the time to read all 124 pages yet but will do that soon.
I wanted to add some pictures of a very rare Reichskanzlei ID from my collection to this thread.
It is one of just 4 known RK IDs (I've seen and heard of so far).
Hope you like it. Note the RSD stamp in the lower left corner.

Please note that these scans have a Copyright. Don't use them without my permission!

Regards

Nice. I've never seen one. You will find some rare relics in this thread, RK lunch vouchers, cloakroom checks etc.

Thanks, Mannheim. I'm wading through the thread and have already seen nice samples as well as stunning pictures of the RK.
