Fritz Fischer was Intendant of the Gärtnerplatztheater from 1938.

Congratulations - it is him! Connected with the career of Johannes Heesters and a parallel life to Gustav Gründgens. His Operattas were famous, Hitler liked them although Fischer was watched very suspiciously by his enemies in Party and SS.

Very good! Such a beautiful place, and hardly anyone ever goes there, I had it all to myself. I have lots more photos if anyone is interested.
