Voßstraße 1950: In the overall planning for Albert Speer's “"Germania", Voßstraße also played an important role. Speer planned to widen the road further until 1950 and to rebuild their entire southern buildings. The Voßstraße would have been extended to the north - south axes of "Germania" to become one of the main streets of Berlin.

Re: Reichskanzlei Thread
Hey guys,
would anybody be interested in a full replica of these chairs?
I could get them from a movie production after it´s finished.
Price would be about 800$ each.
There is a chance to meet two collectors in germany who own a lot of one of a kind items (and never before seen, too) like parts of the original card-table (Kartentisch) and the lamps and furniture from Hitlers working room (and this is a true fact, this items are still in existence). But the fact that they make a big deal out of it and want to remain unknown could be bad for us. I will let you know if I have further information

Re: Reichskanzlei Thread
And here are some more pictures.
The first one is a painting by an artist called "Koeppel", whose idea was to show the re-building of the mosaic-saal of the Reichskanzlei due to the 750th birthday of Berlin. Of course this work is only fictional and absurd.

Hi Nils,
That last photo was taken in Hitler's office in the Führerbau in München, on the occasion of the "Munich Accords."

Re: Reichskanzlei Thread - Führerwohnung
Does anyone has a floorplan and/or pictures of the "Fuehrerwohnung" (Hitlers private appartement) within the Neue Reichskanzlei (New Reichschancellery)?

Re: Reichskanzlei Thread
I just bought Rochus Misch's book "Hitler's Last Witness" and was surprised to see (between pages 148 and 149) a map of the Reichkanzlei with the Ehrenhof translated as 'cemetery'. Just a typo? Or are there bodies under that Chinese restaurant?
