I know the Brandenburg Gate was badly damaged during WW2, but that?
Moreover, there seems room only for five columns instead of six, but then the quadriga would not be centred.
More than a little artistic licence I think.

Maybe a question made already before here in AHF: Why AH had this moustache he had. I know that it was quite popular on that time, but was there any particular reason why he decided to have it?

I think it was probably the style of the time. I don't think I've seen a person with one since Hitler's...wonder why? :)
I don't think I've seen AH without his lip-growth. Well, maybe a baby picture. :)
