Re: Hitler portrait photos
If I remember correctly this image in question was from a Google search. Now, the search wording I use could have been "large Hitler image" (?) Nazi Rally poster/image(?) Large portrait of Hitler(?) German war paintings and or images(?). It all ust depends what search word(s) one uses.
Good Luck.
Good Luck.

@Johnnyrocket
I'm aware of that and there is also an option to look for high resolution images on Google images. I've tried searching Google for the image you uploaded but it showed no results, unfortunately.
It's difficult to tell whether its a blown up image of him or a painting. It looks like just a blown up image of the Heinrich Knirr portrait of him. This classic portrait of the early 1930's was hanged up in a lot of Germans rooms.
It came in two versions, one produced in 1935 and the other a year later in 1936.
I got the info from this site http://www.baumanconservation.com/WWIIV ... Ports.html but this famous portrait of him by Knirr can be found elsewhere along with info on it.
Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like the same image.

Re: Hitler portrait photos
Is this another Hoffmann photo?
The description is Hitler portrayed wearing a suit in September 1936.
http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=vkdk ... 36&f=false
Was this photograph ever for sale as a postcard like most other portraits were?
If so, does anybody have any links for this photograph?

Re: Hitler portrait photos
FYI:
Unseen Hitler:
Photos of the Führer that lay undiscovered in a California attic for decades
Time photo editor Bridget Harris was shocked when her mother mentioned images of Hitler that her late grandfather had brought back from Germany. The collection shows Hitler petting animals and meeting workers
Supporters could collect the set by sending off coupons found in cigarette packets
Dealing Nazi propaganda became illegal after 1945, making the photos extremely rare in Germany
