This site has some excellent period photos (mostly from postcards) of various parts of prewar Berlin. The photo of the Moltke Bridge is particularly interesting for those of us who are interested in the Battle for Berlin as you can see the buildings between the incoming Russians and the Reichstag:

Awesome photo's Mannheim, thanks for the link. Those pre war city images show a grand Berlin with those beautiful buildings.

Great photos, Max! I will be in Germany again in October and will be looking to do some Then-and-Now shots so the more saved photos I have the better. Like this one (the first photo is from the Flickr site, the second I took myself). Curious how Wilhelm Humboldt looks younger in the more modern photo:
