The original cabin Hitler wrote in?
Hi
I am reading a book on Hitlers houses, it mentions an original cabin he rented and wrote in on the obersalzburg? in the 20's? that became a pilgramage site?
do we have a forum post on that? if not where was it? is there anything there today?
thanks!

Hi headwest,
I don't know if this was mentioned in the Berghof Obersalzberg thread, but what you are thinking of was the "Kampfhäusl." It was a small log cabin/hut owned by the Pension Moritz (later Platterhof).

Hitler did not actually live in the cabin, but just used it during the day as a writer's retreat.

Are there and indications or accounts of AH visiting the cabin, say, after '38?
