Speer's 1935 balcony

#1

Here is a photo I took in Wilhelmstrasse late last year. To amuse myself while in Berlin I like to try to work out roughly where certain historic buildings and suchlike once stood. Sad, isn't it? Anyway, I think this street ("An der Kolonnade") is probably positioned more or less where Speer's balcony on the Siedler extension of the Old Reich Chancellery once stood, given that the Vorbunker site lies some distance behind the apartment block on the right. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm guessing the Old Reich Chancellery was on the right.

Thanks, Greg. I have used the Reich Chancellery thread before. Pity it's become inactive.

Yeah, not a lot of new stuff to post there, lately.
