These images are fantastic, and very high resolution too! Great for printing and framing to hang in the bunker.

Thanks PaveIH.

Anyone know if they have any plans for the Neue Reichskanzlei? I tried a search, but alas, but I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly... :?

I have also been looking for it. But unfortunately I have not found anything about it. Even under the architect Alois Degano, I find nothing.

But here is another interesting link for the "Kehlsteinhaus" by Roderick Fick:

as for the Archives at the TUM: You can order the digits if you know which one.
The Archive is a treasure I can assure you!
I worked there with the Fick plans on the Pullach project.

Absolutely agree. The NSDAP was the first party in history to enact legislation outlawing cruelty to animals, in 1933. There is still nothing like it today in Europe or the USA.

Originally the Obersalzberg villa of Martin Bormann belonged to Dr. Robert Seitz. I compared the ground floor of both houses. You can easily recognize the significant enlargement of the Bormann Villa (red box) over the original Seitz Villa.

Looks like he preferred the "open plan" option - nice!

Google street now has another new option
of viewing street then and now but it only so far goes to seven years back.
Maybe in the future we will be able to travel to the Berghof on the road of 1945 or earlier.

Hello Basti and welcome to this thread.

Wanted to make you aware of Geoff Walden's site, don't remember if the home is shown?
A quick search or Geoff will maybe answer himself?

Haus Salzburgblick has been discussed here before;
http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 8#p1513168
It was thought that this might be it behind the guardhouse near the Berghof.

Image

Perhaps you could post a picture of your house for comparison?
Greetings from the Wide Brown.

write "obersalzberg" and press "suchen" please
tell me, what do you think about hotel Antenberg?
Enjoy friends.
Pavel :milwink:
Hi all,

I am just back from a week in Poland (Riese, Auschwitz/Birkenau, Wolfsschanze, Mauerwald, etc.), and so missed Pavel's post.

SUPER, my friend! Thanks!!! I have seen some of these before, but only a few. Look at all the never-realized projects for the 'Berg. This makes it clear that Fick was the major architect on the Obersalzberg (wonder why he didn't have a studio there???).

Rob asked about the Reichskanzlei - all I could find was that they do have a collection, but it's not online (I found this by looking under Speer) - http://mediatum.ub.tum.de/node?id=1205178

This is apparently a photo collection, not plans.

Now, if I could only get all of these Obersalzberg files to download through my slow connection. :x
