ID of a monument

Postby Erik E on 09 Aug 2003 00:13

Hallo!

I would really love to know the location of this monument!
The photo is taken around April-May 1940, and it looks like a WW1 monument. By looking at some other photos in the same lot, I think it could be a harbour . The only thing I know for sure is that it is somewhere in Germany!! I guess it is gone long time ago, but it could help me solve a big puzzle!

HELLO!

Looks like a first world war monument... Your right about that... It sort of rings a bell some where... hm, could it have been the great war monument in Kiel???

I'll look into this, see if I can find anything!

Regards,
Dustin

There is also 4 photos af a huge monument in the same lot, which is definately in a harbour. This has some horses on top.
I think they must be in the same city!

Thanks for helping!!
