Can't say I am but this could be him - albeit with slightly shorter beard - at 3:58:

It's Santa Claus (Just kidding. I couldn't resist that). He does look like the same guy in the video that Mannheim presented.

I'm not sure the person in the video is the same person as in the 2 photos posted by BlackWatch1. The 2 photos appear to be from an earlier year than the 1936 video and this person holds the officer rank of SA-Sturmführer. However, the person in the 1936 video appears to hold the lesser rank of SA-Truppführer. I admit to facial similarities between the 2, but I'm not convinced.

Seems to me when looking at the men on parade that the collar tab with the pips is turn up on the tip so that the third pip cannot be seen in this photo. If you look at the man to the left he has two pips that are far spaced. I too am not sure they are the same man but I ask myself how many men in the SA had white beards?freddiefro wrote:I'm not sure the person in the video is the same person as in the 2 photos posted by BlackWatch1. Re: Anyone familiar with this SA officer?
I feel that the first 2 photos were taken before the 1936 video, so I guess that, if you’re suggesting that an SA-Officer would be standing in the rank-and-file of non-commissioned Standard-Bearers of that unit in 1936…well, I guess it could happen (eg. he could have been demoted after the “Röhm Purge” or for some other reason) but, in this case, I don't think so. That is not to say that an SA-Officer can't be a Standard-Bearer, but in this case...well, while it does look like him, I'm still skeptical.
The 1933 "Cigarette-Card" below shows someone I believe could be the same person as the first 2 photos. I think it's interesting that he's marching without wearing a Kepi.

Look at the angle of the collar to the camera. The collar-tabs of the person with the beard are on a greater angle than the collar-tabs on the other person, so the spacing appears different. Besides, these are Standard-Bearers who all appear to be wearing a Standard-Bearer Gorget and I don't see any SA-Officers among the Standard-Bearers...the first two photos are of an SA-Officer!BlackWatch1 wrote:If you look at the man to the left he has two pips that are far spaced.

I'm sorry, but I don't have the actual card. The photo comes from a scan of the 1933 Cigarette-Card album "Kampf um's Dritte Reich: Eine Historische Bilderfolge" (Cigaretten-Bilderdienst Altona-Bahrenfels).BlackWatch1 wrote:Is there an image of the reverse?

The card from 'Kampf...' is No. 130 and is simply captioned 'Im Ehrenkleid' (?),and has the name of the cigarette company
