Once again, sorry for the delay. Things have been crazy with the Holiday Season. I will resume the Blood Order list in January since I will have more time at that point and hope to also start compiling a Master Golden Party Badge list for early qualified members under 100,000 and honorary recipients with higher party numbers. Things just have not been the same with this thread since Bernd has not been around but I hope to perk it back up on my own or with anyone willing to contribute.

Next on the list of Blood Order Recipients will be Number 12: Freising. I will also shortly add more recipients of political awards from Die Generale der W-SS und der Polizei Band V in which Dieter was kind enough to give me permission once again. Go out and buy the book and the other volumes as well as there will never be another set like it on the SS.

Please add SS-Obergruppenführer Friedrich Graf von der Schulenburg to the recipient list of the Breast Star and Sash Badge to the German Red Cross Decoration (2nd Pattern).

I believe the 2nd pattern which had the swastika goes like this:

Breast Star and Sash Badge
1st Class Neck Order
2nd Class Breast Cross
Red Cross Medal

Later of course the German Social Welfare Decoration came out which replaced the German Red Cross awards.

Another award, please add Gauleiter Josef Grohe to the recipient list of the Golden HJ Honor Badge with Oakleaves. I am happy this list has been expanding over time as all those listed are photos I have seen of recipients actually wearing this unique award, not the more common Golden HJ Honor Badge.
