Kreisleiter research

I am looking for information on a Peter Schmitt from Hermeskeil. He was a Kreisleiter and a member of the Reichstag. Any help or direction in this search would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am afraid I don't have the book at hand, but basic information should be in Rademacher's Handbuch der NSDAP-Gaue, 1928-1945 (2000), which is also concerned about Kreisleiter. As far as I know, it's out of print, but several libraries across the US have a copy of it. You can write me a private message with where you live and I may be able to find out what library near you holds a copy.

Yes, he's in Rademachers book, but also in Statisten in Uniform with a short biography - it isn't very long - I'll write it down here if you understand german? Well, could translate it aswell - what do you prefer?

Peter Schmitt, born 11.9.1901 in Ottweiler, there's no date of death . . . Kreisleiter Trier-Land

I've tried to find a copy of Statisten in Uniform without success. I will search for the other book also. If you could provide a translation of the information that would be great. I could also struggle through the German version if there are not a lot of abbreviations. Thank you very much.
