The documentary is primarily about Ludin's family members and their varied reactions to his role in the war. Its good but as I recall it won't give you a lot more info on the man. Put it in the children of Nazis interviews category of film.

Re the second of the last two photos Prutzmann was only in the SA for a year and joined the SS in 1930. This photo looks later than that, I think.

The documentary is mostly about Ludin's children's struggles with the image of their father however it does have a lot of family photographs that show Ludin and they talk about him. His wife is even shown from past interviews she did with her son.

I'm not finding much at all on Ludin in many of the books I have on the Third Reich. He has no portrait in Charles Hamilton's Bender Books ("Leaders and Personalities of the Third Reich" Vols. 1+2).
He wasn't SS so he's not profiled in those books either.
He isn't even given an entry in the massive "Encyclopedia of the Third Reich" by Christian Zentner.

Are there any books in English that discuss this man or his diplomatic operations or movements in Slovakia / Bratislava?
Was he connected with Dieter Wisliceny in any capacity? I'm surprised that not much is written about him but I may not be looking in the right places. Wikipedia has no source information or references listed in his very slight entry.

I did go back through various threads to find out more about him (which I did). There are many threads but mostly only photographic postings.
Still, I would like some books on the history of which he was involved if anyone has any titles to name.
Thanks.
