Bayerische Ostmark (Bayreuth)
Elbe (Magdeburg)
Ostland (Königsberg ?)
Ostmark (???)
Südwest (Straßburg ?)
Weichsel (Danzig)

Can anybody out there help?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks AnDie, really appreciate this!

You wouldn't happen to know the exact date these Gruppen were redesignated? And what about Gruppe Westmark? :P

There is a bit of confussion about the “SA-Gruppen” names before and after 1942 – Take a look at this link from this forum, halleluja:

Thanks Histgame!

Yeah, I know about the two links you mention - and about a hundred more and I still haven't been able to get these things clarified.

And talking about confusion; try figuring out the various Gruppe colours over the years 1926-45! 8O

Still hoping someone can help me out here ...

Again ... I'm amazed. Thanks a million iap26 - or Ignacio!

Just what I needed. :D

One question though: Am I correct in understanding from your lists, that only Standarten and no Brigaden was controlled by Gruppen Mittelrhein, Bayernwald, Weichsel, Oder and Oberrhein?

Much appreciated ...

I have one question to Ignacio.

Could you just tell me, from which book / source do you have a list of SA Troops (June 1936), which you've presented in this topic just above?

I'm collecting materials about history of SS and SA in Gdansk/Danzig (more on the webpage www.garnison-danzig.pl), and I would like to use some informations from these page, but I need informations about the source (title, page). I would be really grateful for your clue.

With best regards,
Hagelsberger

Hello Hagelsberger

This is the cover of the document containing the June 1936 pages I posted. I believe there is a copy in the library of the ehem. Berlin Document Center.

Hello Ignacio!
Your posts are great.
Can you post the other SA-Gruppe, i. e. Nordsee, Nordmark, Berlin-Brandenburg, Mitte etc. ??
Thanks.
