I search info on him. He was one of the first members of the DAP. He worked with Drexler in the Railways. As member of the DAP, he was First Secretary in the Arbeitausschuß (Nr. 3)

Many Thanks

Hi Boby!

There is little information about Lotter.
During the WWI, he served in the German Navy. Then, in the Railways, he worked as an engine driver.
He was memeber of the Politischen Arbeiterzirkel founded by Drexler. He was a founder member of the DAP.

I suppose you know all this info, but maybe it's useful for other members.

Kind regards.

Hi Eckart!

Thanks for the info. Im very interested in any primary source about him. I have this sources:

- IfZ, Fa 88/Fasz. 78, "Vortrag (Lecture) des Gründungsmitglied der DAP und 1. Schriftführer des politischen Arbeiterzirkels Michael Lotter am 19. Oktober 1935 vor der "Sterneckergruppe" im Leiberzimmer des "Sterneckers": ["Der Beginn meines politischen Denkens!"], (HA, 3/78)

- IfZ, Fa 88/Fasz. 78, Letter Michael Lotter to NSDAP-Hauptarchiv, 17.10.1941

- Bundesarchiv, NS 26/78, Erinnerung an das erste Auftreten von Adolf Hitler 1919 [(1919), 1935, 1941] (I suposse is the same info as in the IfZ Archive)

Best Regards

I realize I'm resurrecting a VERY old thread here, but I came across the name Michael Lotter today. As an extremely early member of the DAP, I thought I would find more info about him online than I can.

Just wondering if anyone can add to the little information there is in this thread. I did find out he was mayor of Amberg after the war, but that's about it. Anyone know what he did up until 1945?
