I've never seen a picture of Walter Oskar Arthur Schmidt (SA-Brif., 09.11.1938; SA-Gruf., 09.11.1944), but awards are a perfect match, SA length of service (joined 02.03.1923), and age seem about right (he was born 18.06.1903, and was of course not a Great War veteran).
Just a guess, of course. I'll keep digging for other possibilities.
