Read this article on the Red Revolution in Bavaria / Munich and it says at the bottom that Schreck was once a Red Army man who fought for the Soviets in Munich. I know Hitler flirted with Eisner and his left wing politics but did not know Schreck once fought for it . The source used was Ian Kershaw. News to me. None of his wiki bios mention this . Is this true?

Hitler is the only one wearing a GPB. He may have been the only person who actually had this decoration in 1933. Thereafter, he ceased wearing it for some years...
Now I'll have to go check my notes. If so that might be one of the very first photos of it being worn?
