Gauleiter books

Postby trespasser07 on 19 Jan 2012 12:25

I have done a thread on SS General s on this topic so sorry if I am repeating myself with some of the region leaders as some were SS members. I was wondering which books on the gauleiters the forum members would like to see published. Any opinions on this :D

Mike Miller's books on Gauleiters will be released by Bender Publishing with volume 1 coming out next month which will help since I can't read my Gauleiter book by Karl Hoffkes very well since it's in German.

Thanks James do you know the release date is for it? I've just been on the website but couldn't see the upcoming book advertised. Thanks again.

Hi Trespasser,

I don't know exactly but when I talked to Bender he said February so I think he will wait until it's a for sure thing before updating his website. It's been forever since something came out so I can't wait. He also said Vol 4 of the Headgear series by Saris will be released the same time.

Best,

James

Sorry to say it's going to be a bit longer than that. This is from the e-mail I just got from Roger:

"You will be pleased to know the Gauleiter finally went to the printers last night. Of course Chinese New Year starts in a few weeks and the whole country closes down so I will not get a delivery date until after that..guessing a couple of months."

But that's better news than no news :o)

According to the internet, Chinese New Year for 2012 begins January 23rd, the year of the dragon. Hopefully we will see them in April or early May. I hope 2012 willl be a good year for books with those by Mike and Saris as well as the new SS book by Ulric of England due in April and maybe Max's volume 2 on the "SS Leadership Corps" will come out this year as well.

Hello Michael (Miller),
I would like know when these books will be avaialble. I am very hurry to see the books on SS volume 2, and the books on SA generals !
-Leader of SS and german police volume 1
-Volume 1 of "SA general" (it will cover önly Gruppenfûhrer and Obergruppenführer, isn't it?)
-volume 1 of "Gauleiter"

I must to admit you that your book give me some ideas about my way of writing my own biography books :
"Waffen-SS Français volume 1 : officiers", and "Waffen-SS Français volume 2" (on Lulu.com) .

They are as much beautiful than yours (Bender is incredibly great publisher), but the inside is -all people say that- very good.

thank you Michael,
