Hi, who is this official from Außenministerium behind Hitler? The picture was taken in the banks of the Vistula River, 4 September 1939.

I've this book dealing with travel of Hitler through Poland. From AA there is one pic of Hewel with same uniform as well von Ribbentrop in speech with AH. They are both in Poland
On the pic you have von Bock, Bormann, our man, behind AH a tall SS-Gruf then a WH General. To be on the side of AH prior Bormann it could be or Hewel or Ribbentrop.

The man in question is Ribbentrop not Hewel. Here is a better copy showing its him.

The general on left looks like Hans Günther von Kluge

It is von Kluge indeed....and Gruppenfuhrer behind AH is R.Heydrich.
